In other words, if you scratch the surface of a confused, becalmed or stuttering business, large or small, you generally come across many of the same issues. How mission is defined and articulated, whether stakeholders are all pulling in the same direction, how the process and culture of the business is directed, how the board functions, and so on, are all fundamental questions that must be addressed before a business can be happy and thrive. These issues confront all businesses. My approach is not one size fits all - far from it. It's just that whatever the challenge is, that business won't be the first that has faced it, and I'm very likely to have come across it before. |
